WordQ
WordQ is a software application that offers support to students who are challenged by text. WordQ works in both English and French. Students can use WordQ to read aloud word documents and webpages. Additionally, WordQ offers word prediction and text to speech to support student writing in any application such as Word, PowerPoint, Google Docs and SMART Notebook. WordQ also reads aloud webpages in web browsers such as Google Chrome, Safari and Firefox. GSACRD has a district-wide WordQ license for for WordQ which includes student home use.
To use WordQ for Text to Speech, open your web browser or document and open WordQ. Highlight the text and then press Read.
Read & Write Gold
Read&Write Gold (RWG) is a software application that offers support to students who are challenged by text. Students can use Read&Write Gold to read aloud digital files and webpages. Additionally Read&Write Gold offers many writing supports including word prediction and visual dictionary. GSACRD has a division site license for RWG which also includes student home use.
